We were launching a body scrub in a busy, competitive category. I knew we had an opportunity - and the responsibility - to lead a conversation with women about experiencing their own bodies. Using a body scrub requires you to take a moment with yourself and get personal, feeling all your curves and edges, sometimes parts you don’t like. While this body scrub exfoliates and nourishes, revealing fresh, soft skin, it also allows you to embrace and love, every part of you. My casting of diverse bodies and races allowed women of all backgrounds to be seen loving every inch of who they are, unapologetically.
I owned the concept, story, casting, photo/video art direction, and graphic direction for the entire campaign.
